Capital FM's Will Manning makes bombshell announcement and reveals new GLOBAL career

Capital FM's Will Manning has bagged himself a dramatic new career.

The broadcaster who is known for his work on the Capital FM network has also recently ventured into releasing his own music, having landed a record deal with RCA last year before the release of his first track, Don't. Now, the broadcaster who previously revealed to fans that he started dabbling in music in his younger years and hosting events in London and the South East. has signed a global publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music UK.

Will's biggest track, Kisses, which he co-wrote and performed by BL3SS, Bbyclose and CamrinWatsin spent a whopping five weeks in the Top 10, peaking at Number 5 and has racked up over 100 million streams across the globe. Speaking on the UK Top 40 to BL3SS, Will admitted it was "weird" to discuss the track. "Last May, I was writing this song and now I'm playing it on the chart and you guys are in front of me. It's all a bit weird." But while Will isn't spinning tracks on Capital, he previously spoke about his set at Drumsheds London, admitting it was "super special" playing one of his "bucket list" venues.

Taking to Instagram, Will said: "I've always been told that one record could change everything, here we are. massive love to @warnerchappelluk for welcoming me into your songwriting family. signing a publishing deal was always a long-term goal of mine, never did I think I'd be here so soon. honestly, though, I've become obsessed with the collaboration process, meeting new people one day then ending up with a song, it's addictive. Life is wild!!!!"

Will's upload which has been liked thousands of times was soon flooded with celebratory messages from his celeb pals and fans. Former Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall exclaimed: "Yes Will," alongside a series of fire emojis. Meanwhile, former Mirror video journalist and current Capital presenter Kemi Rodgers added a string of clapping emojis.

Radio X presenter Rich Wolfenden commented: "Congrats mate! Excellent news." BRIT-nominated producer 220 Kid typed: "Proud of you mate." Meanwhile, one fan commented: "Congratulations!!!! Looking forward to more bangers like Kisses!" "Congrats man. I know how much you enjoy the writing side of music. Great news!" added a second.

Speaking about his new deal, Manning said in a statement: "I literally cannot believe I've just signed with one of the world's biggest music publishers! I'm so ready to take my artist and songwriting career to a level with Warner Chappell. Kisses changed the game for me in the UK and internationally, and having the added support of a global player like WCM is also crazy. It's time for more music!"

Warner Chappell UK's senior international A&R and catalogue manager Emily Green said: "I'm so pleased that Will has agreed to sign with us! He's an amazing talent and such a great person to work with. He's got some brilliant new music of his own to follow up on the success of co-writing Kisses, and we're looking forward to opening doors for him to work with more top-level producers and writers from around the world."
