Kyle Walker's web of lies that saw marriage crumble - love children and 'secret double life'

The City ace made headlines in recent months after it was revealed that he fathered a second baby with the reality TV star. For a while, there were reports of Kyle, 34, and wife Annie, 32, rekindling their romance for the sake of their four children - but now it seems it's over.

The mother-of-four has and is gearing up to fight for half of the England defender's £27million fortune. The former couple, who met as teen sweethearts, have had many highs and lows throughout their two-year marriage. Here, the takes a look back...

Infidelity rumours

Kyle and Annie first met in their hometown of Sheffield when she was 15 and he was 17. She previously revealed: "When we started going out it was love at first sight." In 2013, Annie was signed to Mode Model Management and starred in episodes of The Real Housewives of Cheshire.

Upon her arrival on the show, RHOC star Tanya Bardsley said: "Annie is beautiful and very, very young." Kyle and Annie share four children - Roman, 11, Riaan, seven, Reign, five, and a newborn son, baby Rezon. They are all kept out of the spotlight and their faces are not shown online.

But over the years, their happy family unit has been rocked as Kyle has been accused of infidelity multiple times. In April 2019, he and Annie split up after Ex On The Beach Star Laura Brown claimed the pair had romped in the back of his car in March. When Annie demanded proof, Laura is said to have sent a selfie she had taken inside their family home.

Kyle begged Annie to take him back, but by July, he had an alleged brief fling with model Lauryn Goodman and got her pregnant. Kyle and Annie's youngest son was one year old at the time.

First love child

Annie sadly revealed she had a miscarriage in 2020, and three months later, she discovered Lauryn was expecting Kyle's child. Annie described what Kyle had done as 'obscene'. In 2020, she said: "In late March last year he was unfaithful with a reality TV star. I found out a month later and was broken by it.

"He begged me to take him back but by July he was at it again. Not even three months later and someone was pregnant. My youngest was one. Who does that?"

Heartbroken Annie told at the time: "I don't know what my thoughts or feelings are any more. I feel dead inside." Lauryn welcomed baby boy Kairo into the , meanwhile, Annie took Kyle back and the couple got married in November 2021.

'Secret double life'

In August 2023, Lauryn gave birth to a daughter with 'another footballer' and did not publicly disclose her second child's name, other than hinting the initials are KW on . Then in an interview with in July, Lauryn revealed that Kyle was the father and told of the exact moment she showed Annie a DNA test to prove it.

She said the two women agreed to meet on a FaceTime call the day after Day, while Kyle was playing away with Man City. She said she showed Annie pictures of Kyle with their two children.

Speaking on the scandal for the first time, Lauryn said: "Kyle was happy hiding the truth because he was having two families and was scared about what would happen when Annie knew but I kept saying to him, 'Our daughter can’t be a secret, she is a human'. I didn't want them to split up or cause harm but it had to be out in the open for all of our sakes."

End of marriage

In January, Annie announced their split on social media. She told her followers: "I am posting this in response to growing recent media enquiries about my marriage to Kyle and in an effort to protect my family against the intensity of the media spotlight. Sadly, after many years of marriage and three wonderful children together; I have decided to take some time away from Kyle."

She added: "I do not wish to comment on the position any further. For now, I ask that the privacy of myself and our three young children is respected during this difficult time."

In a statement shared to his Instagram, Kyle broke his silence and wrote: "Annie is an amazing woman and I can only apologise for the upset I've caused her. She's been part of my life for so long and that will never change for the sake of our children. I would ask for privacy for all of our family, and especially our young children, whilst we work through these difficult times."

Despite attempts to rekindle their marriage, Annie has now reportedly called it quits. A source told : "Kyle was stunned when he got the papers. He's spoken to Annie about them and they are discussing the next steps. This doesn't necessarily mean they will divorce. She wants Kyle to know she's not messing about. But if this is a bluff, it may well back-fire."
