The BBC is braced for Strictly Come Dancing to face even more scrutiny as former dancer Oti Mabuse is about to enter the jungle.

Following Amanda's bombshell accusation, other past celebrity and professional contestants also spoke out to suggest his work methods were unkind - while fellow Strictly professional Graziano Di Prima was scalped when it was revealed he had been abusive to celebrity dance partner and he left the BBC show under a dark cloud after admitting he had kicked her.
Now it is reported that the BBC is on edge that former professional dancer Oti, 34 - who danced on the show from 2015 until 2022 - might drop bombshells about the show while on a rival series. Oti was confirmed as one of the 2024 contestants on on Monday and she is now in ahead of the launch show this Sunday.

A source told the "Oti was such a fixture on Strictly and her sister Motsi is still very much still part of the show. After the year the show has had, Oti is undoubtedly going to be asked by curious campmates around the fire what she thinks of the furore surrounding Strictly. She was there for years, and you never know what she is going to say. Everyone will be tuning in and hoping she doesn't say anything that will cause further trouble for the competition but the bosses are worried." The has contacted the BBC for comment.
Ahead of her stint in the jungle, Oti revealed she is a huge fan of the show and can't wait to throw herself into bushtucker trials. She said: "I have been a fan of I’m A Celebrity for so long. Outside of Strictly and , it’s the show I watch religiously, and I can remember last year thinking: ‘Ok, this feels right. I am definitely up for it now, I am up for the challenge’. Now I have had my baby daughter, I want to get back to the adventurous and fun Oti. I feel ready for a change and doing something completely different. I will have no make-up, concealer, lashes – it’s going to be nice to be laid back.”
She has admitted, however, that she is terrified of snakes - and she could come face to face with some either in trials or simply when they slither into camp. She revealed: “In my head I am a superhero but snakes are not my thing. I am petrified of them and they are my biggest fear.”
