Strictly Come Dancing star Jowita Przystal has opened up about her "connection" with .
The pair have been quizzed about their feelings for one another multiple times after fans spotted 'chemistry' between them. However, they have insisted they are just friends amid growing speculation about their connection.
However, during an appearance on It Takes Two tonight, Jowita opened up about things with Pete, insisting he is "such a gentleman" as she praised his "old fashioned soul" when she discussed their "connection".
Speaking on the show tonight, Jowita revealed: "I think Pete is such a gentleman and he puts his arms in a frame and hold me and always likes to be in contact with me. I feel he's such an old school old fashioned soul so he likes that connection when we do ballroom. I think he likes to have control over me so that's why he likes ballroom."
However, things turned a bit awkward later when Pete was surprised with a cake to mark his birthday tomorrow.
"It's a big day tomorrow which needs celebration! It's your birthday tomorrow!" host Janette Manrara announced, whilst Pete sat their awkwardly as Jowita clapped and celebrated his big day.
Strictly professionals Neil Jones and Karen Hauer - who were also in the studio - danced over with a cake for Pete as he covered his face in seeming embarrassment as they waved pom poms in his face.
Earlier today, Pete was quizzed about his "love bubble" with Jowita. He said on : "It's not a love bubble unfortunately, you came in early that was about 30 seconds.
"We have great chemistry because we’ve become such good friends. She’s one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met, genuinely, not just in the dancing side of things, but outside of that, and I think that helps us with the dancing."
When asked if the rumours bother him, Pete added: "It’s always the same. I’m used to it. For ten years that’s all anyone has ever really been interested in, is that side of stuff. But we don’t really listen to all of that."
Maura Higgins is said to be dating Pete Wicks, but in a recent chat on the We Need To Talk podcast, she just admitted: "We just get on very, very well," and refused to divulge any more details.
