Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce engagement rumours heighten after his mum drops major hint

Engagement rumours have been circulating over recent weeks surrounding and her beau .

And while speculation has left Taylor's adoring fans exploring the validity of the rumours, it seems the possibility of an upcoming engagement could be true. According to , who was approached by at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards earlier this week, she did little to rule out an impending wedding.

Donna told the publication: "Nobody knows that. We will see what happens. You never know." But she was keen to add that she does not control her sons Travis and Jason when it comes to relationships. The 72 year old continued: "I don’t give my kids advice. They have everything all settled. They’re far more able to make those decisions on their own."

Donna has been seen with Taylor at Travis' games since it emerged the singer was dating her son since last September. She said: "Taylor's always a gem and a trooper and I think she likes football." While she had been rooting for her boyfriend from the VIP section of stadiums, the star was forced to skip the game against Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Chargers, to prepare for her Eras Tour.

The star had to practice for a concert in Miami next week. She also missed his 35th birthday over the weekend as she had to work. But that didn't stop him celebrating his birthday in a wholesome way by giving back to the community. The footballer hosted his annual Kelce Car Jam charity event in Kansas City last weekend. The event helps his 87 and Running Foundation, which aids the support of disadvantaged kids in Kansas City and Cleveland.

The glitzy event was also attended by the Chiefs quarterback Patrick Holmes and his wife Brittany. The couple are clearly still in the midst of their honeymoon period after Taylor calmly waited an hour for Travis to board a private jet. The pair were set to fly out of Kansas City heading for the east coast of America and were using a £47million jet for the journey. Taylor arrived with her dad Scott and boarded the plane art 6.05pm but Travis hadn't shown up until 7pm. He drove to the airport in his lavish white Hummer but found the gate locked.

But the forever doting girlfriend got her security team to rush him through. The American sportsman has been given a bye week from the Kansas City Chiefs and so is not due back in training until preparation for their game against the 49ers on October 20.
