Interest rates of these FDs have been reduced-
India's largest bank, State Bank of India (SBI), has reduced the interest rates on some short-term FDs (SBI FD Interest Rate). These new interest rates of FD are going to be applicable from today. For information, let us tell you that the FD interest rates (SBI Revised FD Interest Rates) for periods ranging from 46 days to less than 1 year have been reduced by 15 basis points (0.15 percent).
Change in interest rates of three short-term FDs-
SBI has cut interest rates on three short-term FDs by up to 15 basis points (0.15 percent). The bank has reduced the interest rate for general citizens from 5.05 percent to 4.90 percent for FDs of 46 days to 179 days (179 days FD Scheme).
Change in interest rate of 211 FD also-
Similarly, for 211 days to less than 1 year, the bank has reduced the interest rate for general citizens (FD Scheme for citizens) from 6.05 percent to 5.90 percent.
15 basis point cut in interest rates-
FD interest rates for senior citizens have also been cut by up to 15 basis points (Repo rate cut). The bank has reduced the interest rate (FD interest rate) for senior citizens for FD tenure of 46 days to 179 days from 5.55 percent to 5.40 percent.
Interest rates of FDs of 180 to 210 days have also changed-
FD interest rate (SBI FD interest rate) for tenure of 180 days to 210 days has been reduced from 6.30 percent to 6.15 percent. Similarly, for tenure of 211 days to less than 1 year, the bank has reduced the interest rate for senior citizens from 6.55 percent to 6.40 percent (FD rate cut).
SBI is offering these interest rates on FD-
SBI is offering FD (Amrit Varsh FD Scheme) interest rates between 3.05 percent and 6.45 percent (excluding Amrit Varsh rates) to general citizens. This interest rate applies to FD tenures between 7 days and 10 years. For senior citizens, the bank is offering FD interest rates between 3.55 percent and 7.05 percent (SBI WeCare) for the same tenures.
