Patna: Fire at residential building doused off; no casualties reported

Patna (Bihar) [India], September 15 (ANI): A fire that broke out on Sunday morning in the residential building of Patna has been controlled, said a fire official.
According to the official, no casualties or injuries have been reported in the incident. The primary reason reported behind the fire was a short circuit.
The incident took place under the jurisdiction of the Kotwali Police Station area on Sunday morning.
As soon as the information was received, the fire officials, with six fire tenders, hydraulics, and other essential items, reached the spot. Firefighters arrived promptly and brought the blaze under control that broke out on the ground floor of the residential complex.


Speaking to ANI, District Fire Officer, Manoj Kumar Nat said, "We received information at around 8 am. As soon as we received the information about the fire, 6 fire tenders along with hydraulics and other essential items, we rushed to the spot. As this is a densely populated area, the situation could be challenging, that's why we arrived with full preparations. The fire broke out on the ground floor. There has been no casualty. We have controlled the fire and stopped it from spreading. Our first aim after the rescue operation is to control the fire. There has been damage to property in this fire."
The fire official said that the fire department would investigate the matter and review the incident.

He further said, "Primarily, the reason for the fire seems to be a short circuit. We will check whether they have done an electrical road analysis or not and will investigate accordingly. After each incident, we investigate and review the incident and submit an application stating the reasons, the faults which led the incident to happen, and the situation of the audit." (ANI)
