Suzlon Energy on Thursday announced a 365% year-on-year (YoY) surge in its consolidated net profit for Q4FY25 as compared to Rs 254 crore reported in the year-ago period.
The revenue from operations jumped 73% YoY to Rs 3,773 crore versus Rs 2,179 crore posted in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
Sequentially, the profit after tax (PAT) surged 205% as compared to Rs 387 crore in Q3FY25, while the topline grew 27% versus Rs 2,969 crore reported in the October-December quarter of FY25.
Net profit for the full financial year rose to Rs 2,072 crore in FY25, up from Rs 660 crore in FY24. Revenue from operations grew 67% YoY, reaching Rs 10,851 crore compared to Rs 6,497 crore in FY24.
All profits are attributable to the owners of the company.
The company incurred expenses of Rs 3,274 crore in the quarter under review, which was up from Rs 2,611 crore in Q3FY25 and Rs 1,927 crore in Q4FY24.
The company spent on the heads including consumption of raw materials, components consumed and services rendered, employee benefits expense, finance cost and depreciation and amortisation expenses.
Earnings were announced after market hours and Suzlon shares today ended at Rs 65.44 on the NSE, declining by Rs 0.88 or 1.33% over the Wednesday closing price.
Segment revenue
The company earned revenues from wind turbine generator business, Foundry & Forging and operation & Maintenance Service. It also earned income from other sources at Rs 4 crore.
-- Wind Turbine Generator: The Q4FY25 revenue stood at Rs 3,142 crore versus Rs 2,336 crore in Q3FY25 and Rs 1,532 crore in Q4FY24.
