In a recent vlog, Farah Khan opened up about her salary during the early days of her career. In a chat with ‘Ludo’ actor Rohit Saraf, the Main Hoon Na director revealed she used to get paid a humble sum of Rs 300 when she started as a dancer.

For the unversed, the director and her chef visited actor Rohit Saraf’s home in Mumbai. In a conversation, the actor opened up about his struggling phase and revealed he used to receive Rs 5000 per day when he was doing a show on Channel B, to which the director-turned-YouTuber replied, “That’s a lot! When I started dancing in films, Rs 300 a day used to be a wow! It was a lot for us at that time.”

The vlog began on a hilarious note when Dilip saw the actor and remarked that he was not the director Rohit Shetty, to which Farah replied, “Every Rohit isn’t Rohit Shetty, this is Rohit Saraf.”

They also met Rohit’s mother Anita, and the director complained that he had not given her any dates for nearly a year.

Khan openly admired Rohit Saraf’s exceptional dancing abilities, recalling their collaboration in Ishq Vishq 2. She mentioned that she had first recognized his talent while working on a song for the film and was impressed by his skill on the dance floor. Rohit, in turn, shared his experience of working with her, admitting that he initially felt nervous. Friends and colleagues had warned him that Farah was known to be strict, often scolding or pushing performers to deliver their best. Although Rohit usually felt confident about his dancing, he made sure to put in extra hours of rehearsal for her choreography, determined to meet her high expectations.
