Wallet Vastu Tips: Many of us keep certain items in our wallets that we consider auspicious. Some like to keep a coin, some a photo of God, or some a Tulsi leaf or a Rudraksha bead. Most people do this to increase wealth, ward off evil eye, or maintain positivity in their lives. But have you ever wondered whether these items should actually be kept in your wallet? Worship items are sacred and have a profound impact. However, their correct or incorrect use can make a significant difference in your life.
Sometimes, we keep sacred items with good intentions, but improper placement and care can have adverse effects. Many astrologers in Vrindavan say that each worship item has its own energy. If placed in the right place, it brings auspicious results, but if placed in a dirty or inappropriate place, that same energy becomes negative. So, let's find out from Bhopal-based astrologer and Vastu consultant Pandit Hitendra Kumar Sharma whether or not to keep Tulsi, Rudraksha, or other worship items in a purse.
A purse isn't just a place to keep money; it's also considered a symbol of our financial status and energy. What's kept in it can influence our fortunes and mental state. Many people believe that keeping a Tulsi leaf or a Rudraksha in a purse prevents financial losses and keeps negativity away. While it's true that both Tulsi and Rudraksha are considered extremely sacred, there are some rules for keeping them in a purse that shouldn't be ignored.
1. Keeping a Tulsi leaf in your purse
Tulsi Mata is considered one of the most sacred plants. It is said that where Tulsi is present, Lord Vishnu resides, and negative energy doesn't linger there. If you want to keep a Tulsi leaf in your purse, it's considered auspicious. However, make sure your purse isn't dirty. Immediately remove any old bills, tickets, or other rubbish from your purse. Keep a Tulsi leaf wrapped in a red or yellow cloth. If the leaf dries or breaks, float it in a river and replace it with a new one. Keeping it this way, Tulsi Mata helps maintain your financial well-being and protects you from the evil eye.
2. Keeping a Rudraksha in your purse
Rudraksha is a symbol of Lord Shiva and has very powerful energy. Keeping it in your purse increases positivity and brings mental peace. However, never keep a Rudraksha without wrapping it. Wrap it in a red or white cloth and ensure it is tied with a thread. If the Rudraksha bead is old or broken, it should not be kept in your purse. Immerse it in flowing water. Remember to never keep the purse below your waist or sit on it. Doing so disrespects the object of worship and reduces its effectiveness.
3. Other Worship Items
Many people keep photos of God, Chalisas, or small metal idols in their purses. However, this practice is considered inappropriate. Purses are practical objects where we keep money, receipts, and sometimes impure objects. Keeping a picture of God or a page from a religious text is considered impure. This can cause harm rather than benefit. If you want God's blessings, it's best to wear a locket, not keep it in your purse. Besides Tulsi, avoid keeping other worship items, such as lotus beads, Rudraksha beads, or metal objects, in your purse. Their energy is very sensitive, and misplacing them can have negative effects.
4. Always Keep Your Purse Pure
If you keep Tulsi or Rudraksha in your purse, make sure it's not torn or dirty. Never place the purse on the ground, and always keep it above your head or chest level. The purse should not contain any tamasic items, such as cigarettes, gutkha, or obscene pictures. Take care of your purse daily and replace the sacred objects in it from time to time. This has a positive impact on your financial situation and brings wealth and prosperity to your home.
5. Can Tulsi and Rudraksha be kept together?
Yes, but only if both are wrapped properly and do not put too much pressure on the purse. If the purse is small or already has many items, keep only Tulsi. Rudraksha has a strong energy, while Tulsi is considered gentle, so combine the two carefully.
