Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): Keeping in view the security of the Mahakaleshwar Temple, ornamental gates will be constructed at the place of entry into the temple from all the routes coming towards temple.
Keeping in view the security, the number of devotees sitting in Bhasmaarti will be reduced as per capacity and arrangements will be made for darshan of maximum number of devotees through mobile Bhasmaarti. These decisions were taken in the meeting of Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee (MTMC) held on Thursday evening in the Administrative Complex Building under the presidentship of collector-cum-ex-officio chairman Raushan Kumar Singh.

It was decided to install a gold and silver touch testing machine with operator for the evaluation of valuable material offered by devotees to Mahakaleshwar. It was decided to set up a parking space and charging station for the e-cart received as donation to the temple.
The bidders and their approved materials of the tender issued this for the purchase of food grains for the units run by the MTMC such as free Annakshetra, laddu prasad manufacturing unit, Vedic Training Research Institute, bhog ghar, etc, were approved.
It was approved to auction the scrap material kept in the premises of Mahakaleshwar Vedic Training and Research Institute as per rules. It was decided to display information regarding all types of facilities available in the temple at Ujjain railway station, bus stand, temple entrances and all the inquiry counters of the temple.
In the meeting, the MTMC approved the establishment of Geeta Bhawan under Ujjain Municipal Corporation. It was decided to construct a retaining wall under the Maharajwada and Mahakal premises merger work.
Mayor Mukesh Tatwal, representative of Shri Panchayati Mahanirvani Akhada Vineet Giri, SP Pradeep Sharma, ADM and MTMC administrator Pratham Kaushik, municipal commissioner Ashish Pathak, UDA CEO Sandeep Soni also were present.
