Mumbai: A tragic accident occurred early Friday morning near Siddharth Colony on the Eastern Express Highway in Chembur, Mumbai, when a speeding garbage truck belonging to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) overturned. The mishap claimed the life of a labourer and left two others injured. Chembur Police have registered a case and begun an investigation into the matter.
According to police sources, the incident took place around 7 a.m. when the truck was transporting garbage from Ghatkopar to Sion.
