Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): Two suspicious men were caught for allegedly photographing buildings related to Military Intelligence in Jabalpur. The incident comes at a time when tensions run high between India and Pakistan, making the case more sensitive.
Suspicious men were clicking photos and recording videos in the military area of Gora Bazar police station area. The security guard caught the duo and handed them over to Military Intelligence officers.
The individuals have been identified as Mohammad Zubair (22), a resident of Ayesha Nagar, and Mohammad Irfan (32), from the Anand Nagar area. A security guard noticed their suspicious behavior and immediately detained them, handing them over to Military Intelligence officials for further investigation.
Smart phones of both the men are being thoroughly investigated during the interrogation. Responding to the situation instantly, army officers came into action after photography of an area related to Military Intelligence amid the India-Pakistan war.
Jabalpur is home to the Central India Area Headquarters of the Indian Army, making the region strategically sensitive. Authorities have not yet confirmed whether the suspects have links to any foreign or extremist organizations, but investigations are ongoing.
The matter is being treated as a serious security concern, given the current geopolitical situation.
