Arne Slot believes Liverpool’s title celebrations will attract top players and also inspire their current squad to repeat their success next season. The Reds head coach is confident they have the ‘perfect package’ at the club after winning a 20th English league crown.
The scenes last week of jubilation around Anfield and beyond on Merseyside will only add to the hunger among the team to experience it again. Slot said: “It's also a perfect package to stay motivated ourselves, because to experience this once is really nice, but we would love to experience it one more time.
"So we know why we do things now, because to experience this has been probably special for you guys, it's been special for all the fans, but it's definitely been special for the players and for us as well. So we know the why now, if we start next season, what we do it for.”
travel to on Sunday as they look to finish off the season but moves are already happening to strengthen the squad in a bid to retain the title next season. And the success and iconic scenes will help in convincing targets who other clubs are chasing that Liverpool is the place for them.
Slot added: “It definitely helps, I think, to attract new players as well, because mostly the players that we want to have, we are not the only clubs who think they are good players so these players have probably more options.

“And then it helps maybe for them to see that the way we do things over here is special, I think you can say that."
Liverpool are currently 15 points clear of but the record winning margin for a champion is the 19 points finished ahead of Untied in 2018. While players individually will have their own targets like being four goals off his best Premier League haul.
Slot will tweak his side but don’t expect wholesale changes in the final few games. He said: “We could maybe see a player in a certain position, what he does in that position combined with someone else. But like I said it is not going to be a big change, there’s not going to be seven or eight new starters.
“It’s going to most of it be the same and to see how a few players do in a difficult game like Chelsea away and where they are in their development.”
But Slot’s focus is also starting to turn to next season with work already underway on bringing new players in with sporting director Richard Hughes.
He added: “In the background, of course I did this already a little bit, because it's not like after we won the league, that's the first time Richard [Hughes] called me and said, 'OK, these are the players we are interested in!'
"But I think there's a bit more time for that now than there would have been if we still needed three points or a win or whatever. So there's a bit more time now to have these conversations.”
