Stood by his side on the red carpet of the Icon Awards, Eamonn Holmes' girlfriend was all smiles for the waiting photographers while placing a loving hand on his back. Meanwhile the GB News presenter was beaming from ear to ear as he too appeared in good spirits at the glitzy award show, held in east London.
This is the first time Eamonn, 65, and Katie Alexanderwho is 22 years his junior, have been seen out and about together since it emerged that the "honeymoon" phase of their relationship had come to an end.
According to those close, the lavish holidays and expensive presents are doing little to add the much needed boost to their romance and now, Eamonn is reportedly spending more time in Belfast with his family - without Katie.
Eamonn has been suffering with severe back pain since his spinal injury in 2022 and now relies on an electric wheelchair to get out and about.
The established news presenter was married to Ruth Langsford at the time of his injury but last year the pair ended 14 years of marriage.
And soon after, it became clear that he had formed a close bond with Katie, who works as a counsellor.

According to reports recently made by the Daily Mail, Eamonn is grumpier than ever. The source said: "Let's just say the honeymoon period looks like it is very much at its end."
They added: "He's grumpier than ever and his health problems [he has chronic back pain] really aren't helping but, instead of moving closer to Katie and settling, he's spending more time with his family in Belfast, often without her. The lavish gifts and the swanky holidays don't seem to have made him any happier."
And according to the publication, his colleagues at GB News have the same complaint. One said that "he's a miserable goat even on a good day."
They added: "He goes into GB News in the morning, and he moans and moans. It seems to be fizzling out for him. He is very low – the only thing that cheers him is going to work, he loves working."
To make matters worse, according to reports, his son Jack who he shares with Ruth has taken his mother's side since their public separation and so too has the youngest son from his first marriage.
Ruth has recently hinted at a return to This Morning, the daytime show she regularly co-hosted with her estranged husband. But she has one stipulation and that is to work with her "TV son", Ryland Clark.
In a recent interview she said: ""If they’d have me, they only have to ask, especially with Rylan! I love Rylan. He's like my son, really. We adore each other, and we've worked together before, so who knows?"
