Geri continues to ignore Mel B's wedding day as A-listers celebrate her Spice Girls bandmate

As Spice Girl Mel B exited St Paul's Cathedral as a married woman, her social media was inundated with well wishes from a host of celebrities. But one person who not only failed to attend but is yet to send a message of congratulations is her former bandmate, Geri Horner, better known as Ginger Spice.

Mel, 50 married her long time partner Rory McPhee over the weekend at the regal St Paul's Cathedral in front of a number of high profile guests including Cara Delevigne, Alan Carr, Daisy Lowe and her fellow bandmate Emma Bunton.

The relationship between Geri and Mel hit breaking pointafter, Mel, who also goes by the name of Scary Spice revealed that the pair had engaged in a sexual encounter during the nineties.

Mel had let slip the candid admission while filming for Piers Morgan's TV show Life Stories in 2019.

According to reports, Geri was left hurt and humiliated and their friendship does not seem to have recovered since then.

Victoria Beckham was also a no-show but she had sent Mel a message congratulating her on her big day.

She wrote: "Congratulations!!!!! We hope you had an amazing day!!!! X kisses xxxxxxxxc."

She then added: "Congratulations @officalmelb @rorymcphee on your special day! I couldn't be more excited for you both and wish you a lifetime of happiness! kisses xx"

Supermodel Heidi Klum was quick to post a message also that read: "CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU BOTH. WISHING YOU LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE FOREVER."

Singer Alexandra Burke simply wrote: "Congrats!"

Loose Women star Katie Piper sent a message that said: "Congratulations you deserve so much love and happiness."

But it didn't stop there as Robbie Williams' wife Ayda Field took to her social media account and wrote: "Congratulations !"

Paloma Faith added: "Congrats my angel you deserve the world."

Mel Chisholm was also unable to attend the star-studded nuptials but made sure to send a message of congratulations.

Sharing a picture of them, she captioned the post saying: "So so happy for you both and beyond gutted I couldn't be there. Excited to celebrate with you really soon! Yippee!"
