Helen Flanagan tells Lauryn Goodman shocking detail about vile online trolls

Speaking on the latest instalment of her podcast series, mum-of-two Lauryn, 33, revealed how she and Helen have been bonding over online abuse recently - with the two women claiming the majority of nasty messages they receive are sent from "women with children."

Lauryn, who shares two children with Manchester City footballer , recently appeared on the E4 series Celebs Go Dating alongside former soap star Helen. Helen, who split from the father of her three children Scott Sinclair in 2022 after a 13-year romance, sparked some controversary during her time on the show.

"Welcome back. I think last we spoke about Celebs Go Dating and trolling," Lauryn began as she opened her podcast alongside co-host Lisa Andrews. "I spoke to Helen Flanagan earlier and she was just saying that the trolls are awful and that she's had it for ages and I'm so used [to it]."

Speaking directly to Lisa, Lauryn continued: "'Cause you were going 'it's really bad' and I was thinking 'I don't know I'm just in this ignorant bubble' because I just block them, yeah my little safe space I'm like they're blocked so I just ignorance is bliss, I guess. I just don't even see it yeah which is the best way for sure but a few slip through the net don't they? She went on to reveal that Helen told her the majority of trolls are "women with children." With a knowing smile on her face, Lauryn added how she told her Celebs Go Dating co-star "I know" in response.

Lauryn recently hit back at with fellow WAG . The Manchester City captain is currently on a bid to win back the trust of estranged wife , who announced their separation in January. Annie is mother to four of Kyle's six young children, with her youngest son born just before England's Euro 2024 campaign kicked off over the summer.

Annie, who met Kyle in their hometown of Sheffield when she was 15 and he 17, split from Kyle over the period, after learning her husband had fathered another child with Lauryn. Annie was already aware that Kyle was father to Lauryn's son Kairo Walker, born April 2020, but only recently discovered her estranged husband and Lauryn welcomed a daughter, Kinara Walker, into the in August last year.

The pregnant WAG announced her split from Kyle on her Stories on 10th January, telling her fans: "I am posting this in response to growing recent media enquiries about my marriage to Kyle and in an effort to protect my family against the intensity of the media spotlight."

She added: "Sadly, after many years of marriage and three wonderful children together; I have decided to take some time away from Kyle. I do not wish to comment on the position any further. For now, I ask that the privacy of myself and our three young children is respected during this difficult time."

Two days on from his wife's announcement, Kyle took to his own Instagram page and wrote: "Annie is an amazing woman and I can only apologise for the upset I've caused her. She's been part of my life for so long and that will never change for the sake of our children. I would ask for privacy for all of our family, and especially our young children, whilst we work through these difficult times."

Since it emerged Kyle had father a second child with Lauryn, the two women and the footballer have been embroiled in a bitter war of words on social media and via various press publications. Kyle no longer has contact with Lauryn's son and daughter but provides financial support.
