Beloved Yorkshire shepherdess and mother-of-nine appeared live from her farm on Tuesday’s Lorraine, but rather than just promoting her new show, it was her demeanor that left many viewers uneasy.
Known for her time on Our Yorkshire Farm with ex-husband Clive Owen and their large brood, Amanda, 50, joined the morning programme to discuss the upcoming season of Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids - a More4 spinoff that follows the former couple and their children as they tackle a new renovation project.
While chatting to host Lorraine Kelly, 65, Amanda reflected candidly on post-divorce life and what it's like to co-parent while still sharing major responsibilities. However, it wasn’t the family farm tales or the funny anecdotes that viewers were hooked on - it was Amanda's appearance.
When asked about how things are going with Clive since their 2022 split, Amanda offered a blunt but revealing take: "It’s about moving forward. We've got plenty to amuse ourselves. There’s space… There’s room to get away from each other, if we're being absolutely brutally honest here. If we got on like a house on fire, we wouldn’t be separate would we?"
Amanda acknowledged the challenges of raising nine children in the same environment with an ex, adding: "It’s not all sunshine and springtime. The reality is, we’re just getting on with it and making it up as we go along."
She continued with a moment of honest humour about her chaotic but rewarding life: "I’m quite proud of how we’re going on. It’s about priorities. This life isn’t about perfection… Turn around, go in the house - goodness me. There are goats going through the house. Literally tumbleweed going through the door. It took me time to get the children to school this morning without being covered in lamb poo and snot."
Despite her lighthearted delivery, some fans felt something was off. Social media quickly lit up with concern over Amanda’s appearance and tone. "Is Amanda OK? Something doesn’t seem right," one viewer posted on X. "She doesn’t look well."
Others called out the interview for glossing over what felt like obvious signs of exhaustion or strain. "Lorraine acting completely oblivious to what she's seeing in front of her eyes - as usual." Another echoed: "God, Amanda doesn't look well at all. Hope she's doing okay."
Not everyone agreed however, as many came to Amanda’s defense, praising her resilience, warmth, and continued dedication to her family. "Nine kids and running a farm - Amanda Owen is a powerhouse," one fan wrote. "She looks incredible considering everything she juggles."

Amanda has remained a fixture on British TV since the Owen family’s rise to fame in 2018. Our Yorkshire Farm documented their rugged, idyllic lifestyle on Ravenseat Farm, capturing hearts across the country. After five successful seasons and a public split, the show wrapped in 2022.
Since then, the family has remained on screens through spinoffs like Beyond The Yorkshire Farm: Reuben & Clive and Reuben: Life in the Dales. Now, with Our Farm Next Door, viewers get a fresh glimpse into how Amanda, Clive, and their children are building something new- both literally and emotionally.
