star Madeleine West has as she shared a sweet post of her newborn. The soap actress, 47, gave fans a small look at her new bundle of joy as she revealed her baby is in excellent health.
Madeleine shared a close up snap of her baby, while choosing to protect their identity. She did not reveal her newborn's name or gender but showed their tiny little hands resting on their chest.
The Aussie star gushed: "Earthside at last… and utterly perfect." She was flooded by messages from her famous pals as Alex Fevola said: "Congratulations!! Enjoy this precious time."
Shelley Craft commented: "Sending all my love and cuddles. Congratulations." Jo Stanley added: "So so so wonderful!!! So happy for you and your beautiful perfect baby. So much love to you."
"Congratulations mumma!!!!!!!!! So happy for you," added Christie Hayes. Madeleine had opened up about her seventh at the age of 47 after being met by shock at her announcement.
The TV star shares five daughters and one son with ex Shannon Bennett. She is set to take part in a 60 Minutes interview, but in a preview Madeleine said she is determined to keep "dancing to the beat of my own drum."
Madeleine opened up on the shock she received from others at her pregnancy at her age, but was "surprised" by the amount of support. She said: "There was a lot of shock, naturally. And then, 'Are you sure? You're at this point in your life. Your career is blossoming. You've got all these kids'."
The actress added: "But I am surprised by so many people who have reached out saying, 'I've done what you're doing and I felt so alone. I felt like everyone would see me at the playground and they would think I'm grandma'."

When asked if she had even been mistaken as a grandma, she replied: "Oh yeah, naturally. But my argument has always been I've always danced to the beat of my own drum.
"I've always done things a little bit different. A little bit outside the norm." Madeleine, who is mum to Phoenix, 19, Hendrix, 16, Xascha, 14, Xanthe, 12, and twins Xalia and Margaux, 10, also revealed her friends' initial reaction to her news.
She admitted: "When I first reached out to my circle and revealed the big news, there was certainly a look. A bit of a stunned mullet, I would say."
Madeleine told Stellar Magazine that she wasn't expecting to be pregnant, but said it was a welcome surprise. Speaking ahead of the birth, she said: "I feel like this little person has come along at the best possible time when I'm so very ready."
She added she feels like she has "more time, wisdom and experience" when it comes to parenting. Madeleine announced her news back in January as she showed her growing bump.
She wrote: "WHOOPS! Thought it was #perimenopause. I thought WRONG! It's not too much pudding either. I couldn't be happier."
