An affirmation was shared by Michelle Keegan this week following her return to work after maternity leave. The message she shared with fans also comes following the news that the actor has signed a new six-figure deal.
Michelle, 38, is thought to be working away at the moment and she has given fans a glimpse behind-the-scenes of the undisclosed project on Instagram. She's joined on the trip by her "team," which consists of a makeup artist, a hairstylist and a fashion stylist.
She's shared a series of posts whilst on location this morning, including revealing that the group had a deck of affirmation cards, created by motivational speaker Roxie Nafousi, with them. Michelle later showcased a card that was chosen.
The former Coronation Street cast member first shared a photo of someone taking a card from the deck. Michelle then shared the message with fans, with the card she had chosen reading: "I am deserving of happiness and success." She included the heart and stars emojis.
Roxie later reacted to the post on Michelle's Instagram Story and shared it with her own followers. Addressing the use of her deck in the post shared by the star, she wrote in her caption: "OMG [Michelle] using my affirmation cards."
It comes following Michelle becoming a parent and enjoying more success in her career in recent months. The actress, whose four-month-old daughter Palma was born in March, finished filming the final season of Sky's acclaimed Brassic in May but is said to have signed a deal over a new project.
Michelle - who last year appeared in Netflix's Fool Me Once, which remains one of the most watch original series on the streaming platform globally - is said to have signed a deal to become the new face of Sky recently. She is reportedly set to film promotional clip with Idris Elba for the company.
A source told The Sun last month: "Michelle has really been enjoying maternity leave with Palma, but she'll be back to work soon to film these new adverts for Sky. She has signed a six-figure deal for the job and is thrilled to have been chosen to appear alongside Idris, who has been their 'face'."
They added that Michelle is "keen" to remain part of the Sky brand following the end of Brassic, which began in 2019. The source added that joining its adverts is "huge" for Michelle, who is becoming a "brand in her own right". The source concluded: "Everything she touches seems to turn to gold."
Michelle had been on maternity leave following the birth of her daughter Palma in March. She had announced the newborn's arrival in a joint post with her husband Mark Wright, with them saying that they had a "new love to share".
She has kept fans updated on parenthood since then as well as posting about her career on the platform. It includes her promoting collaborations with brands such as L'Oréal and her own swimwear brand Orfila Bee in recent months.
