Tasha Ghouri collapsed on the floor during her Strictly Come Dancing rehearsals.

The Love Island star is putting on her dancing shoes for the competition show alongside other well known celebs. She has partnered up with professional Aljaz Skorjanec but it looks like he is putting her through her paces.

Tasha took to TikTok where she shared a funny video as she pretended to collapse on the floor due to fatigue from the intense rehearsals. Aljaz featured on the clip where he repeatedly asked Tasha "another one, thank you" as the camera cut to Tasha looking rather tired.

She captioned the clip "when in rehearsals" alongside a series of laughing emojis. Tasha then added: "But on a serious note, I'm loving it."

The 26-year-old Love Island star, who was born deaf, was announced as part of the 2024 celebrity line-up last month. She rose to fame after appearing in the 2022 season of the ITV2 dating show as the programme's first deaf contestant.

However, taking part in Strictly is said to be her latest challenge as she follows in the footsteps of EastEnders access Rose Ayling-Ellis, who was Strictly's first deaf contestant to compete on the show and ended up lifting the glitter ball trophy with professional partner Giovanni Pernice back in 2021.

Joining Fake Bake and Press Box PR at the National Television Awards, Tasha said: "It’s a privilege. Rose opened up the door for all of us. She was the first person I really looked up to on TV. She’s the first person that elevated the deaf community. What’s fantastic is that we’ve really got different experiences with our deafness and what we can bring to the table."

Talking about how training for the show is going, Tasha added: "It’s exactly the same for me as Rose, I feel the music, base and the beats. With the counts, that’s where I’m struggling a little bit. What I’m used to is five, six, seven, eight. But the counts are off with the music, so I feel like I’m not in time. I’m having to feel the music and play the sounds in my head. It’s a weird way but that’s how my brain works."

She then discussed how she's finding each style of dance: "All dance styles are hard because they're so disciplined. For me, Latin is the hardest because it’s so fast. You have to move your feet quickly and I’m trying to keep up, which is tough.

"It's super fun but a challenge. The training, trying to push through, it's hard sometimes. It’s knowing your body and where you are physically and mentally. The opportunity only happens once, so I’m trying to make the most out of it."
