The Haryana government is making Ayushman Bharat cards to provide free health facilities up to Rs 5 lakh to senior citizens above 70 years of age. Cards can be made at the Civil Hospital in Narnaul. Many government and private hospitals in Mahendragarh district are included in this scheme. Soon cards will also be made by organizing camps.

Under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini, the Haryana government has once again proved its commitment towards the health and welfare of the citizens. Now the work of making Ayushman Bharat card has started to provide free health facilities up to Rs 5 lakh to senior citizens above 70 years of age. This initiative is a direct proof of the activeness and spirit of public service of the state health department.

Deputy Medical Superintendent Dr. Vijay Dabas said that interested senior citizens can get their Ayushman card made by bringing their Aadhar card and age certificate to the Ayushman room located in Civil Hospital, Narnaul, every working day from 8 am to 2 pm.

He said that this facility is specially dedicated to that section of our society which has devoted its life to nation building. The card holder beneficiaries will be provided the facility to get free treatment up to Rs. 5 lakh per year under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana.

He informed that this facility is applicable in government and listed private hospitals. This scheme will provide senior citizens an opportunity to get better medical facilities as per their convenience and requirement. He informed that in district Mahendragarh, 29 government and 30 private hospitals are on the panel of Ayushman.

Dr. Dabas urged all senior citizens to avail this important opportunity. He also assured that the hospital staff will be available to provide all possible assistance in the process of card making. Dr. Dabas said that this initiative will not only relieve senior citizens from financial burden, but is also a historic step of the Haryana Government towards ensuring respectful and quality health services to them.

Soon Ayushman cards of the elderly will be made by organizing camps in the field

Civil Surgeon Dr. Ashok Kumar has said that Ayushman Bharat cards will be made available to all those beneficiaries whose age is more than 70 years. Camps will soon be set up in the field to deliver these cards to the people. Through these camps, the work of making Ayushman cards of the elderly will be done on the spot, which will make it easier for them to get the card made.
