Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday participated in 'Janta Ki Adalat' at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. With this program, he also started preparations for the Delhi Assembly elections. Kejriwal said, "It does not matter to politicians, but it matters to me. I am called a thief and corrupt, it makes me sad. I have earned respect and honesty in my life, but I have no money in the bank and neither do I have my own house."
He also said that he has resigned from the post of Chief Minister after 10 years and will now leave the Chief Minister's residence in some time. Kejriwal made it clear that he does not have any house to live in Delhi. As part of the plans for the assembly elections, Kejriwal will hold Janata Ki Adalat in all 70 assembly constituencies. He will ask the public whether the Aam Aadmi Party government is honest or not. Apart from this, he will ask whether he himself is honest.
Arvind Kejriwal was recently released from Tihar Jail after getting bail from the Supreme Court on September 13 in the Delhi Excise Policy case. He had announced on September 15 that he would resign from his post two days later. On September 17, he resigned from the post of Delhi CM. Addressing party workers, he said that until he is proven honest in the court of the people, he will not sit on the CM chair.
