Noida Traffic Alert: 6-Day Advisory Issued for UP International Trade Show, Routes to Avoid and

Noida Traffic Police has announced a 6-day traffic advisory ahead of the upcoming UP International Trade Show in Greater Noida. The advisory, effective from September 24 to 29, outlines road closures and alternative routes to ensure smooth traffic flow during the event, according to DCP Traffic Yamuna Prasad.

The Trade Show will be held at the India Expo Mart, with Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar set to inaugurate the five-day event on September 25. Commuters in and around Noida are advised to plan their routes accordingly to avoid areas with restrictions.

Road Closures From 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM during the event, heavy goods vehicles will be prohibited from using the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and surrounding roads. Only vehicles carrying essential supplies like milk, fruits, vegetables, and medical goods will be allowed to operate. No-entry signs will be placed at key points for clarity.

Alternative Routes Here are the alternative routes for commuters to avoid traffic congestion:

Chilla Border: Vehicles from Chilla Border will be diverted at Chilla Red Light. Drivers can make a U-turn and proceed via NH-9, NH-24, NH-91, and the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. DND Border: Vehicles from the DND border will be diverted at DND Toll Plaza. Commuters can then take a U-turn and use NH-91 and the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. Kalindi Border: Traffic from the Kalindi Border will be directed towards the Eastern Peripheral Expressway and NH-91. Jewar Toll: Vehicles approaching from Jewar Toll on the Yamuna Expressway, heading to Delhi, will be diverted to Aligarh via a U-turn before reaching the toll. Honda CL Chowk: Traffic heading to Delhi from Honda CL Chowk via the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway will be rerouted through the Eastern Peripheral Expressway via Sirsa Roundabout. Surajpur Ghanta Chowk & Pari Chowk: Vehicles coming from these locations will be diverted and can proceed via Tilpata and Sirsa Roundabouts towards the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.

Commuters are advised to follow these routes to avoid disruptions and ensure a hassle-free journey during the UP International Trade Show.
