Somy Ali, the former girlfriend of Bollywood star Salman Khan, recently made headlines by inviting gangster Lawrence Bishnoi for a Zoom call following news of his involvement in NCP leader Baba Siddique's murder. Bishnoi, who has also issued warnings to anyone associated with Salman Khan, was addressed directly by Somy in her social media post on Thursday.
Somy, who dated Salman Khan in the 1990s and later moved to the U.S., is now a women's rights activist. Although she has spoken about having a troubled relationship with the actor, she has defended him on several occasions.
In her Instagram post, Somy wrote a direct message to Bishnoi, who is currently in Sabarmati Central Jail. Referring to him as "bhai," she invited him for a virtual discussion, saying, "Namaste, Lawrence bhai, I've heard that you’ve been doing Zoom calls from jail. I’d like to talk to you. Please let me know how we can arrange this."
Somy went on to mention her fondness for Rajasthan, stating that it is her favorite place and expressing a desire to visit Bishnoi's temple. However, she added, "Let’s do the Zoom call first and settle a few things."
In her message, she emphasized that the conversation would be for Bishnoi's benefit and asked him to share his contact number with her for further communication.
