WhatsApp, the popular messaging app, has introduced a new low light mode for video calls. This feature helps users improve video quality in low lighting conditions, making it easier to attend calls even in dim environments. This new update also includes options for adding filters and backgrounds during video calls.
Why Use WhatsApp's Low Light Mode?
The low light mode improves video clarity by reducing grainy images when you're in a poorly lit setting, allowing for better communication during video calls.
How to Enable Low Light Mode on WhatsApp
To activate the low light mode, follow these simple steps:
Open WhatsApp Start a video call Tap on the bulb icon located in the top right corner during the callThis feature is available on both iOS and Android versions of WhatsApp. However, it is not yet accessible on the web version of the app.
WhatsApp's New Chat Theme Customization
In addition to the low light mode, WhatsApp recently rolled out a feature allowing users to personalize their chat themes. This update offers greater control over how conversations appear, giving users access to a range of 22 different themes with up to 20 color variations.
Users in the Google Play Beta Program can already try these new chat themes, which allow for customizing both the background and the conversation color. You can apply a universal theme for all chats or set individual themes for specific conversations. Importantly, these themes will only be visible to the person who applies them, ensuring privacy in chats.
