It's not over the top to suggest Arsenal's title chances next season could hinge on the Gunners signing a striker this summer. Mikel Arteta and co. have bided their time when it comes to adding attacking reinforcements, but on the back of three consecutive runner-up finishes, it could be a case of 'now or never' for Arsenal.
It's rumoured that Arsenal hold credible interest in both Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres, with the latter supposedly the north Londoners' first-choice striker target. But both RB Leipzig and Sporting are renowned for being tough negotiators, meaning Arsenal could have difficulty striking up a deal for either. As such, Express Sport have highlighted three potential striker targets Arsenal could go for, if Sesko or Gyokeres aren't attainable.
Jhon Duran - Al NassrRemember him? The mercurial attacker, whose wonder goals for Aston Villa captured the imagination of the football world early in the 2024/25 season. Well, after ditching the Premier League for Saudi Arabia in January, Jhon Duran is rumoured to want a return to Europe. At just 21 years old, he has his best years ahead of him and while his stay in the Premier League was only brief, the Colombian international proved he was capable of mixing it with the big boys.

From a former Aston Villa player to a current one, Arsenal's interest in Ollie Watkins is long-standing, with the Gunners having seen a bid for the Englishman rejected in January. Who knows what might've happened in the second part of the campaign had Watkins completed his Emirates Stadium move, but with 75 Premier League goals in 184 matches to his name, the 29-year-old certainly knows where the back of the net is.
Samu Omorodion - PortoHad things worked out differently for Samu Omorodion, he might've already been playing in the Premier League, with Chelsea having come close to signing him last summer. Instead, the then Atletico Madrid star moved to Porto, where he's since been scoring for fun in the Portuguese league. Since arriving at Porto, he's bagged 27 times in 45 games, including a brace against Manchester United in the Europa League, making the 21-year-old one of Europe's hottest attacking talents. Given the number of clubs on the lookout for a striker, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Samu on the move again this summer, with Arsenal no doubt among the clubs who have the Spaniard on their radar.
