Claudia Winkleman refused sex with husband after one huge mistake in bedroom

star Claudia Winkleman shared a rather cheeky snippet about her bedroom secrets, admitting that she has one surprising deal-breaker with her husband Kris Thykier. The 53 year old television favourite confessed she draws the line at intimacy if Kris has been downing water.

Spilling the beans on the Off Menu podcast with comedians Ed Gamble and James Acaster in 2020, Claudia opened up about her dislike of H2O. "I don't like or believe in water, I won't have it," she stated playfully.

Claudia even admits to giving the cold shoulder to a glass of water offered at dinner, emphatically saying: "It's a solid no from me."

Venturing further into her unconventional aversion, Claudia explained how it hampers her romance, saying: "My husband drinks great amounts of water and I really like him but it's problematic. He's glugging. Don't touch me. 'Claud, take your bra off.' I don't think so - you should be ashamed of yourself."

The celebrity mum elucidated: "Imagine you're on a date - I've been with the same man for 100 years. He's sitting there and he's like: 'I don't know what to have, what are you going to have? Maybe we should have the same thing.' And someone comes round and says: 'Would you like some water? And he goes: 'Yeah, sure,'" as reported by OK!

"He downs a pint glass of water and just like that, are you going to want to kiss this man anymore? No. A wet mouth with a big fleshy tongue that is covered in liquid."

Claudia Winkleman left fans gobsmacked with her bizarre confession about her dislike for liquids, saying she prefers a "dry shrivelled up little man" and even quipped about wanting to sleep with Mr Burns from The Simpsons. "I want a dry shrivelled up little man, I want to sleep with Mr Burns, he doesn't drink water, I want him at the table," she disclosed.

"I just don't like liquid, I don't like wine, there's all kinds of stuff. Is this too weird?".

The television star has been happily married to film producer Kris Thykier since 2000, and they have three children together: Jake, Matilda, and Arthur.

Known for her dazzling presence on the small screen, Claudia not only co-presents Strictly Come Dancing with Tess Daly but also hosts The Piano and The Traitors. The celebrity edition of The Traitors is currently in production, with Claudia at the helm.

According to The Mirror, the show will feature well-known personalities including comedians Bob Mortimer and Alan Carr, as well as singer Charlotte Church.
