Emmerdale fans are set for an emotional week In the Dales, with Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Ford) opening up about her struggles, with Dr Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) stepping in to help, and Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) wrestling with painful secrets. In upcoming episodes, Liam drops into the shop and quickly notices Tracy's low mood. The long-running soap favourite admits she has been experiencing bouts of depression while managing the challenges of single parenting. Wanting to support her, Liam suggests arranging further counselling sessions.
However, the conversation takes a turn when Liam casts doubt on how Owen Michael (Simon Haines) could have realistically overpowered Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter). His scepticism plants a seed of suspicion in Tracy's mind, leaving her wondering if there is more to Nate's mysterious disappearance than meets the eye.
Meanwhile, Charity Dingle is moved by Tracy's struggle, and the pair share an emotional conversation. But behind Charity's comforting words lies her own anguish, as she contemplates how to break devastating news to her son Moses (Arthur Cockcroft). Viewers will see Charity agonise over telling Moses the truth about Mackenzie Boyd's (Lawrence Robb) abrupt departure.
The fact that Mack ended their relationship via a voice note soon begins to trouble Tracy. Sensing a striking similarity between Mack's sudden exit and Nate's unexplained absence, she starts to wonder whether there could be a darker link between their sudden disappearances.
After discovering John (Oliver Farnworth) killed Nate, Mack was chased through the woods by the former army medic.

Moments before, Mack worked out that John was the one who killed Nate Robinson (Jurrell Carter) last year and dumped his body into a lake.
Resorting to desperate measures to not let Mack get away, a tense showdown then took place in the woods, in which John chased Mack armed with a crossbow. John managed to shoot down Mack, and the arrow went straight through his chest.
Still alive but wounded, Mack was cornered by John, who found a giant rock and threw it down, seemingly killing Mack.
However, it was revealed that Mack is very much alive, and John dropped the rock on his ankle to prevent him from escaping.
John is currently holding Mack hostage in a bunker near his childhood home. Will he make it out alive?
