Angel Strawbridge, famed for her Channel 4 series Escape to the Chateau with her husband , has opened up about her sense of 'isolation' following the birth of her first child.
The celebrity, 47, also shared her initial discomfort around her French neighbours upon relocating abroad with husband Dick Strawbridge.
Dick and Angel, who previously went by the name Angel Adoree before the pair wed, gained popularity through their show documenting the restoration of Chateau de La Motte Husson in France.
Before tying the knot with Angel in 2015, Dick was already a father to two grown-up children, and the couple later had two kids together: Arthur, aged 12, and Dorothy, 11.
On the Sweat, Snot and Tears parenting podcast, Angel spoke frankly about feeling 'isolated' after having her son Arthur.

In conversation with podcast hosts Annie and Wendy, Angel revealed the difficulties of drastically changing your life as a parent.
Reflecting on significant shifts in her life, Angel recounted her emotions post-childbirth.
She confessed: "The biggest change when I did feel a little bit isolated was when I had my first child. Because then I just was like: right, your whole life changes completely."
Angel further described how becoming a mother altered her mindset ahead of the family's monumental move to France.
"By the time I moved to France I was in a different mental state from before I had children," she stated.
"I was ready. And I think that's the big thing. I think if you're gonna do a move to somewhere like this, you really have to be ready for it."
The celebrity also mentioned that relocating had taken its toll on her social engagements, though she acknowledged the Coronavirus pandemic played a part in this as well.
Identifying herself as a "social butterfly", she revealed that despite her children adapting well to the French educational system, she felt out of place among the elite neighbours she privately dubbed the "Chateau Set".
"I felt really uncomfortable, it was weird," she mused.
Angel concluded by saying that she and Dick were in agreement that the opulent dinner parties hosted by their affluent neighbours were just not their cup of tea.
Angel and Dick's paths crossed later in life via a shared television agent in 2010, leading to their marriage in November 2015, reports Devon Live.
They've since shot to international fame with their property restoration escapades, making Escape to the Chateau and its spin-offs huge hits for Channel 4.
Yet, the show was cancelled two years back amid reports of a falling-out between the couple and Channel 4 executives.
Since the cancellation, they've been engaging with their followers by sharing updates on their ongoing ventures and travels through social media platforms.
