is gunning for billionaire status-and industry insiders say she's well on her way. The ultra-ambitious Duchess of Sussex has launched a full-blown business empire in 2025, including a lifestyle brand, a controversial Netflix cookery show, a brand-new podcast and a Goop-style online shop-all of which are part of her relentless climb to the top. reveals that Meghan and Prince Harry are now worth close to $200million (£160million), thanks in part to their jaw-dropping $100million (£80million) Netflix deal for With Love, Meghan. Half of their joint fortune reportedly stems from the streaming mega-deal alone.
Markle, who had around $5million (£4million) to her name before marrying Prince Harry in 2018, has dramatically increased her fortune. Harry himself was worth an estimated $60million (£48million) at the time, including an $11million (£8.8million) inheritance from his late mother, Princess Diana. Since stepping away from royal duties, the couple has monetized their fame with a slew of big-money projects, including Harry's high-paying job at US wellness firm BetterUp, and a series of lucrative endorsements and TV deals.
Despite ongoing criticism aimed at With Love, Meghan, insiders say her brand -already being compared to Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop-could rocket her into the billionaire's club.
One brand manager said: "Meghan and Harry are very bankable... any couple who can pull in $100million (£80million) from Netflix for a series of shows has serious market appeal.
"Now with the launch of her brand, even more serious cash is set to roll in. There is no reason why they can't go on to achieve $1bn (£800million). She can launch make-up, clothes etc via her As Ever firm and sales will be great because of her global appeal.
"Look at people like Rihanna, Kylie Jenner. They have made mega-money and there is no reason why she can't emulate their billionaire status. She looks at Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop for inspiration and if she plays it correctly, As Ever could be bigger than Goop.
"Meghan would certainly have the last laugh on the royals back in the United Kingdom if she ended up becoming a billionaire."
As part of her deal, Meghan will reportedly launch As Ever products-including jam, herbal teas and ready-made crepe mix-in conjunction with the streaming giant.
Meanwhile, Meghan is charging ahead with her latest project-Confessions of a Female Founder, a new podcast backed by Lemonada Media.
She told one guest in the one minute 57 second trailer to think of the experience as being in a "dolphin tank" rather than a "shark tank", asked another whether she is single now, talked about the "laser focus" needed in business, and finished her voiceover with: "Let's do this, ladies."
Meghan has already teased advice on building "billion-dollar businesses (£800million businesses)" and well-placed sources say Meghan "thinks she's going to be a billionaire" and believes the executive team around her "can get her there."
