Prince Harry has been slammed by one expert for "failing to deliver" two major things since stepping away from royal duties. The 40-year-old, who is the King's youngest son, now resides in California with Meghan Markle and their children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4.
Since stepping away from royal life, Harry has launched various projects with the couple's lucrative Netflix deal - including a show called Polo and their joint self-titled series, Harry & Meghan. He has also successfully continued to work on the Invictus Games, which he launched back in 2014.
Despite this, royal expert Hilary Fordwich criticised Harry has done since stepping back whilst speaking to Fox News Digital.
Speaking of "long-term satisfaction" and "independence", Hilary said: "Nothing he has done has delivered any long-term satisfaction, independence, or been met with any universal support, or he would have stuck with it.
"His popularity has plummeted in the polls on both sides of the Atlantic."
Discussing how Harry has settled into life in the US in the past five years, she added: "Those who know him report he's homesick and feels out of place in California.
"His social circle in California is limited further, making him miss his old friends, who avoid visiting him, as well as his military connections."
Speaking of Harry's achievements, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams added that most have been founded prior to him meeting his wife.
He told the publication: "Almost all of Harry's achievements, such as Invictus, Sentebale - though he has now stepped down from the board - and WellChild, were before he married Meghan.
"The Invictus Games are undoubtedly remarkable and may lead to a form of royal reconciliation. [But] his most publicized activities with Meghan have been their 2021 interview with Oprah, the Netflix docuseries [Harry & Meghan] in 2022 and his memoir 'Spare,' all of which did considerable damage to the royal family."
