Quisling Keir Starmer, leftie Lord Hermer and UK judges think your rights don't matter

We always suspected it but now we know for sure - that in the eyes of this Government and our judiciary, the rights of illegal migrants trump the rights and fears of the British people! We just don't matter anymore. What we think, what we feel, what affects our lives means nothing to this Government and a bunch of judges and lawyers who seem hell-bent on ignoring the safety of the British people. Didn't we always know those three High Court judges were going to throw out last week's temporary injunction saying migrants could no longer be housed in the Bell Hotel in Epping?

Had they not, this Government's utterly shambolic asylum system would have collapsed like a pack of cards and been exposed for exactly what it is - a farce of monumental proportions. Because had the original judgement been upheld, councils all over the country would have applied to have the 32,000 migrants removed from their hotels and our useless Government would have had nowhere to put them.

And that just couldn't be allowed to happen. The whole thing stinks to High Heaven. Lord Justice Bean even criticised Mr Justice Eyre for having granted the original injunction two weeks ago. He said he'd made a mistake. Really?

Because the rest of the country saw it as a victory for decent, ordinary people sick to the back teeth of the effect out-of-control immigration is having on their communities and lives.

During this appeal Yvette Cooper made the ridiculous argument that the ECHR stipulates asylum seekers cannot be made destitute. Well, they wouldn't be destitute if this incompetent Government had got off its lazy backside and built Nightingale-type detention centres which could house thousands. The ECHR says nothing about asylum seekers having to stay in four-star hotels.

And while we're on the subject of the ECHR, how come Britain appears to be the only country obeying its every utterance? The rest of Europe isn't. Germany has deported 10,000 asylum seekers since May. And in July, it deported 102 failed Afghan asylum seekers courtesy of a deal with Qatar. So why aren't we doing that?

Not least because now TWO ex-Labour Home Secretaries, David Blunkett and Jack Straw, have told Starmer we need to get the hell out of the ECHR to take back control of our borders. Straw also made it clear that ECHR rulings are only advisory. We just have to "take account" of them, not slavishly follow them.

So why are we?

Straw also says the Human Rights Act could be amended so that British courts can totally ignore the ECHR. So why the hell haven't we done that either?

Why is this Government continuing to let in thousands of boat migrants every month with the excuse that we can't do anything to stop or deport them? We can. So why is the quisling Starmer choosing not to?

And how stomach-churning to see this government together with our leftie activist of an Attorney General, Lord Hermer, challenging last week's ruling when they have always said the rule of law is sacred. Not so sacred when a ruling goes against them and would expose the utter balls-up they've made of our asylum system.

Starmer and Hermer were desperate to have that judgement on The Bell Hotel overturned because, if it hadn't, they knew the whole asylum system would collapse. This all now feels like we have a Government and a judiciary that hates the British people.

We have a bloke in charge who used to be a human rights lawyer and once said immigration laws were racist. We have an Attorney General who has said he'll never refuse to comply with any European Court ruling.

He's also the bloke who likened criticism of the ECHR to Nazi Germany in the 30's and who Lord Glassman recently called an "arrogant progressive fool" who's out of touch with the British people.

Who'd have thought this once proud nation whose history is built on democracy is now being led by donkeys who put the rights of illegal migrants above the rights of the British people?
