is officially part of weekday early evening viewing. Hosted by , it's the perfect way to unwind after a busy day at work and unload some pent-up aggression - especially if the Chaser seems to get all the easy questions!
That was the case on Tuesday (May 6th) as four new contestants took on to battle it out for a whopping £20,000 grand prize. Toby from London, Becca from Marlow, Sophia from Liverpool and Neil from Manchester all had successful rounds, each contributing healthy amounts to the pot.
By the end of the show, the group had a healthy balance of £20,000 and had also managed to rack up a buffer of 20 questions that Jenny had to beat. However, viewers at home couldn't help but notice that the queries the group had to answer were a lot tougher than those that Jenny had.
For instance, the group were asked, "What is the most popular city in Algeria?," "Pat Rafter Arena is a Brisbane stadium court for what sport?" and "Lashana Lynch plays an MI6 agent in what Bond film?" They managed to answer the first two correctly - Algiers and tennis - but failed to guess the correct 007 movie, guessing Die Another Day instead of No Time to Die.
Many watching at home commented on X, formerly Twitter, that they thought the questions were pretty tough and were impressed with how many the team managed to get right.
However, when it came to Jenny's questions in the final round, viewers were left stunned by the sheer ease of the problems put to her. Among the questions was the very simple: "A clumsy person is said to be like a bull in a what?" And the laughable, "What restaurant chain calls its employees Nandocas?"
Of course, Jenny ploughed through her questions and finished with 13 seconds to spare. People at home, though, were left fuming and took to social media to brand the show "fixed". One user wrote: "Bradley might just as well have asked Jenny her name address, and date of birth - her questions were a joke. ITV, you should be ashamed of yourselves!"
Another suspicious viewer added: "Them questions were easy peasy for me, so to ask the smartest chaser them questions is a p*** take or a fix." And a third person simply wrote: "The Vixens' questions were far, far too easy. FIX!"
What do you think of the questions? Let us know in the comments below.
The Chase is available to watch Monday to Friday at 5pm on ITV and ITVX.
