Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler are among the pros competing across seven days of action at Augusta National in Atlanta, Georgia. It marks the first golf major of the year, with 96 players set to take to the green. Five-time winner Woods has been forced to pull out of this year's competition with an Achilles injury, while Xander Schauffele is aiming to get his hands on the coveted Green Jacket for the first time.
McIlroy gets another chance at claiming the career Grand Slam having already picked up two victories this season on the PGA Tour. Speaking on the , three-time Masters winner Sir Nick Faldo said he has 'a feeling' this could be the Northern Irishman's year. He said: "He's 35, playing great. Can he just go to Augusta and absolutely clear all the pictures out from the past? It's way easier said than done, but he could do it and I've got a feeling he might."

Here's when The Masters 2025 begins and how to watch live in the UK.
coverage will run from 5pm UK time on Monday, April 7, to Sunday, April 13. Viewers can tune into the latest news and interviews in the practice rounds early in the week before the traditional Par 3 contest at 7pm on Wednesday.
Coverage of the first two rounds begins at 2pm on Thursday and Friday.
Sky will be broadcasting every day of The Masters 2025 live from Augusta on its dedicated Sky Sports Golf channel. Those without Sky can now get Sky's for £35 per month.
This includes nine dedicated Sky Sports channels, more than 100 regular channels and free Netflix and Discovery+ subscriptions. Sky says it will be showing 'record hours' of live coverage across the tournament, including more action across the final two rounds than in previous years.
Sky Sport Golf will also air a raft of documentaries and features from past Masters tournaments. Virgin Media also offers Sky Sports with select TV packages like the £59.99 .
While more pricey than Sky, this comes with more than 200 TV channels including eight Sky Sports channels, plus 362Mbps fibre broadband. However, many Sky customers have been singing the praises of the provider on Trustpilot, as one said: "Don't usually post reviews [but] big shout out to the new sports channel. Brilliant and for once Sky in line with other sports platforms. I love it."
Another said: "I wasn't a fan of Sky a few years back but they really have upped their game and service. More than happy and a great deal with the sports channels and nothing so far has been added in charges. I could be staying with Sky a very long time."
However, not everything has been smooth sailing, as this customer said: "I wasn't happy with the service, phoned up to change my deal and was passed around like a parcel. Eventually I got to speak to someone who knew what they were doing. I am happy my issue was resolved but took a lot of work."
