The wait is finally over as a gripping new series of Trigger Point lands on ITV this weekend.
Fans of the show will see Vicky McClure reprise her role as Lana Washington, who seems to be struggling to cope with everything that has happened to her.
Lana, along with the rest of her bomb-disposal team, will have their work cut out for them in the upcoming episodes as they quickly discover one person is demanding revenge.
While one person holds a sinister vendetta and is targeting individuals, the team are forced to work against the clock to ensure people's safety.
Joining the cast this year is Jason Flemyng, who plays the role of Steven Wyles in the ITV show, someone who appears to be fed up with the system.
Speaking about his character to Reachplc ahead of the series, the actor said: "The truth is, he's another little man that's fighting the system and has been hard done by.
"In his head, the catalyst system and profit before people, he's had enough and he takes retribution.
"He's not without reason, and Vicky's character isn't battling him politically or emotionally; it's just that he's breaking the law and doing something that puts other people in danger. So, that's the essence of their relationship, I think."
When speaking about joining the show, Jason had nothing but praise, he highlighted how much of a good time he had during production.
He commented: "I loved it! It was amazing, Jamie (Donoghue) and Chas Bain who shot it, have upped the ante and created something that looks really filmic and beautiful and I was really excited to be a part of it. I had a great time!"
Along with Jason and Vicky featuring in series three, fans will also see the return of Eric Shango, Nabil Elouahabi, Natalie Simpson and Maanuv Thiara.
When speaking about what fans can expect to see this series, Vicky teased that there's drama on the way. She commented: "I think you're going to really enjoy their performances.
"The team is back, we're more connected than ever, the explosive moments are coming thick and fast. You'll see me running a lot, which is rare.
"I just know that people are going to go, 'wow'. I mean, even from the trailer that we've put out. I'm really happy to brag about it, which is a rarity."
Trigger Point Season 3 premieres Sunday, 26th October 2025 at 9pm on ITV1 and STV, with the full series available to stream on ITVX and STV Player.
