
Lidl are urgently recalling an air fryer due to it being a "fire hazard". Warning people to stop using it, the retailer has said only one batch has been affected. In a statement, Lidl say the item affected is the "T17129L Tower 8Ltr Dual Basket Air Fryer".
They added: "Our supplier is recalling the above-mentioned product due to risk of overheating, which could present a fire hazard." Because of this, they ask: "If you own one of the affected models, please stop using it immediately."
The affected batch is said to be "all stock of T17129L" as they reassure customers that "no other Tower products in Lidl GB stores are affected by this recall."
If you have bought the kitchen gadget and it is part of the recall, they ask that you contact the supplier at www.tower-safety.co.uk to check if your unit is affected and follow the instructions for returning it. It's not just kitchen gadget's the retailer is recalling. If you've bought has brows or snack bars, they're also part of a recall.

Batch affected: All stock with Best Before Date Dec 2025 with batch code L24337 and Best Before Date Nov 2025 with batch code L24316
The retailer said: "Lidl GB is recalling the above-mentioned product due to due to potential presence of plastic foreign bodies which may present a choking hazard. No other Alesto products in Lidl GB stores are affected by this recall."
If you have bought the above product, "we advise you not to eat it", they add. They urge people to take the product back to the store for a "full refund."
Hash Browns recallProduct: Harvest Basket Hash Browns, 750g
Batch affected : All stock with Batch number: 5144L and Best before date: 24/05/2027
In a statement Lidl say: "Lidl GB is recalling the above-mentioned product due to the potential presence of foreign bodies (metal) which may present a choking hazard."
If you've bought this product, Lidl urge you not to eat it. Instead, please return it to the store where customers will be given a "full refund." Lidl conclude: "We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your cooperation."
