Formula 1 fans looking for a handy gadget that can whip up a refreshing smoothie or milkshake will want to check out the latest deal on the Nutribullet x McLaren F1 Team 900 Series. Ahead of the British Grand Prix this weekend, shopping marketplace Yimbly (owned by the Daily Express parent company Reach Plc) is offering a £10 discount on the blender when the code SUMMERDAYS10 is entered at the checkout. This brings the price of the appliance down from £99.99 to £89.99.

Nutribullet says the 900W McLaren F1 blender offers 'power, precision and performance'. It provides '50% more power' than the original model, while the extractor blade releases even more goodness and nutrition from the ingredients used, resulting in a 'smoother drinking experience'. The blender comes with a solid lid, a to-go lid, plus 700ml and 900ml cups, with the latter making enough smoothie for the whole household.

The Nutribullet x McLaren F1 Team 900 Series, which can also be used to create foods such as soup and dips, can crush ice, burst seeds, crack through stems, and shred tough skins, allowing users to throw in any ingredients they fancy. The gadget is easy to use; simply push, twist and blend to create a delicious smoothie or milkshake in under a minute.

There's no need to worry about the mess left behind, as cleaning the blender is also simple. The blades easily twist off and can be rinsed with soap and water, while the cup can be popped in the dishwasher.

Nutribullet is the only brand that features the Formula 1 team's logo and colours, but there are other blenders on the market. Ninja is currently offering the Detect Blender Pro on sale for £99.99, reduced from £139.99, which has a 1200W motor base and a 2.1-litre jug.

For shoppers looking for a more budget-friendly blender, the Lakeland Tabletop Blender currently has a £20 discount. This 1200W gadget is now priced at £54.99, down from £74.99, and comes with a 1.5-litre jug.

There are currently no reviews for the Nutribullet x McLaren F1 Team 900 Series on the Yimbly website, however on the Nutribullet site where the blender costs £99.99, it has received an impressive overall rating of 4.8 out of five.

One customer wrote: "I bought this six weeks ago and I'm obsessed with it. We have an old blender that took ages and didn't blend even soft fruit very well, so this has blown me away. Every day I have the same drink with five vegetables in it and it takes less than 10 seconds to make.

"I've started intermittent fasting and having this helps me to be healthy while also being able to consume all of my food in a short amount of time. It's really easy to use and I take the small cup with the drinking lid to the gym with me. It's such a good tool to improve a healthy lifestyle. Wouldn't go without it now. Highly recommend. I think it's cheap for the value that it's added to my life."

Unfortunately one shopper was left disappointed with the Nutribullet x McLaren F1 Team 900 Series, as they explained: "The rubber falls off the blade on every use. Returned it and will not be buying another."

However, someone else was delighted with their purchase, as they commented: "Brilliant kitchen addition. This blender has changed my life, which sounds dramatic, but as someone who used to spend a substantial amount on bottled smoothies, it's true. I've been using it for nearly a month now, and it makes breakfast so easy.

"Now I don't buy bottled smoothies, saving money and plastic. I pick up plenty of fruit and veg and this blitzes them without any sneaky additives. I have also made almond milkshakes (with cinnamon and dates) in it which are such a delicious pre-bedtime treat. Possibilities seem endless. I've been recommending this product to everyone."
