Delhi: On Diwali night, a fire broke out in a high-rise residential building in Noida West, leaving three floors severely damaged and resulting in the tragic loss of a pet dog. The incident occurred at Echo Village 1 in Noida West, where flames quickly spread through multiple floors, causing significant property damage and leaving residents shaken.The blaze is believed to have been caused by firecrackers set off nearby, which ignited parts of the building. Despite the high volume of calls, no major fires were reported.An official from DFS shared, “These calls were received between 4 pm and 9 pm. No major incident was reported from anywhere except two people getting injured in a fire on a bus.” The bus incident occurred in Dwarka’s Chhawala area around 6:30 pm when firecrackers being carried by a passenger accidentally ignited, injuring two people on board.
