The incident occurred in broad daylight on a crowded street, with bystanders fleeing in panic. Unverified social media reports suggest the shooting took place in Highland Hills, Dallas. Times Now has not independently verified the authenticity of the video and has chosen not to share the clip due to its graphic nature.Several social media users claim the shooting stemmed from an argument over a phone."This just happened in Dallas, Texas (Southside, Highland Hills area, apartments known as "The Pinks"). I used to live in these apartments. This was over a DAMN PHONE!" one person claimedAnother person wrote, "I heard in the video the guy who shot said “give me her phone” hopefully it wasn’t over a phone."A third person wrote, "Just seen it …. Over a damn phone people have no respect for life at all… praying for that young man’s family …. My God."Another added, "No matter what the reason was, I don’t think that man deserved to die like that. I don’t know the whole story but this is so sad for that community.
