The makers of Rajinikanth's Vettaiyan announced on Monday that the film's audio launch and prevue event will happen on September 20, at Jawaharlal Indoor Stadium, Chennai, 6 pm onwards.
Vettaiyan Release AnnouncementAs per Lyca Productions, the official makers of the film, Vettaiyan will release on October 10, 2024.Lyca Productions took to their social media recently to announce the news of the film's release date. The post read "Target locked VETTAIYAN is set to hunt in cinemas worldwide from OCTOBER 10th, 2024! 🗓️ Superstar as Supercop! Releasing in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi & Kannada!"The film is directed by TJ Gnanavel, who is known for creating socially relevant narratives. The film marks his first collaboration with Superstar Rajinikanth.Said to release in Telugu, Hindi and Kannada, this Pan-Indian film solidifies the successful partnership between Lyca Productions and actor Rajinikanth, with Vettaiyan being their fourth film together. Prior to it, Rajinikanth worked under the banner for 2.0, Darbar, and Lal Salaam.The film also reunites Rajinikanth and music director Anirudh Ravichander for the fourth time, following their collaborations in films like Petta, Darbar and Jailer. A Stellar Ensemble CastThe film consists of a stellar ensemble, including Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who will share the screen with Rajinikanth for the fourth time after they collaborated in Andhaa Kanoon, Geraftaar, and Hum. The film includes Manju Warrier, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, and Dushara Vijayan, in key roles.
