Hazaribag: Barkagaon police on Friday arrested Prem Ganjhu, an active member of TSPC.
Barkagaon police station officer-in-charge Nemdhari Rajak said that information was received about Prem, a resident of Devgarh and a member of Diwakar Ganjhu squad of TSPC extremist organisation. Information came that he was roaming around the area near Amba Tola market in Barkagaon with arms. For verification of the said information and necessary action, a raid team was formed as per the order of the senior officer, he said. A raid was conducted in Amba Tola with one arrested in suspicious condition.
On search, a country-made pistol and two live bullets were recovered from him. On interrogation, he identified himself as an active member of TSPC and member of hardcore area commander Diwakar Ganjhu's squad. Rajak said Prem was sent to judicial custody.
