Flights to Jodhpur, Chandigarh & Jammu to resume from May 15

Indore: With de-escalating tension between India and Pakistan and their reaching an understanding of a ceasefire, Indore flights to Jodhpur, Chandigarh, and Jammu will now resume from May 15.

Following the implementation of a ceasefire between India and Pakistan, passenger flight operations have resumed from airports in states bordering Pakistan. The Ministry of Civil Aviation has issued an advisory to reactivate 32 airports. However, the suspended flights from Indore to Jodhpur, Chandigarh, and Jammu will only recommence from May 15.

IndiGo Airlines has not included the resumption of these Indore flights in their initial flight schedule. It is likely that airline companies are adopting a gradual approach to reinstate flight operations. The company has initiated bookings for flights of these three cities from May 15.

Due to the military tensions between India and Pakistan, 32 airports in the northern and western parts of the country were closed from May 9 to May 15. This resulted in the suspension of flights from Indore to Jodhpur, Chandigarh, and Jammu.

Although these airports have now been reopened following the ceasefire, the three flights operating from Indore will not resume on Tuesday. It is worth noting that the suspension of passenger flight operations from airports in states bordering Pakistan was initially in effect until May 10 but was later extended to May 15. Consequently, operation of the three Indore-bound flights was also suspended accordingly. Now, the passengers intending to travel to Jodhpur, Chandigarh, and Jammu by air from Indore will have to wait until May 15.
