Criteria for Re-Appearing in the Supplementary Examination
Students who have failed or missed the theoretical paper in a semester examination may be eligible to reappear in a supplementary examination. However, this opportunity is restricted solely to theoretical papers and does not apply to practical or internal assessments.
To qualify for the supplementary examination, candidates must reappear for the subject within two subsequent semesters. This gives students a maximum of two consecutive chances to clear the exam. If they are unable to pass the theoretical paper within these two chances, they will be discontinued from the respective course.
In cases where a student misses the supplementary exam twice due to severe medical reasons, they are required to obtain special permission. This approval must come from the concerned Faculty Secretary, and the student must submit the request through the Head of their institution. If the permission is granted, the student will be allowed to sit for the supplementary examination in the subsequent semester.
