Eid e Milad 2024: For Muslims, Eid-e-Milad is one of the most significant holidays. This day is enthusiastically and fervently observed by all Muslims. The Islamic Prophet Mohammed, the final messenger of Allah, was born on this day. Other names for this day are Mawlid and Nabid. This day occurs on Rabi Ul Awal each year. The celebration of Eid-e-Milad started on September 15 and it is being celebrated today, September 16, 2024.

The Muslim community places a tremendous deal of religious significance to Eid-e-Milad. Every Muslim in the world celebrates this day with great excitement and zeal. On the twelfth day of Rabi Ul Awwal , the Islamic Calendar's third month, people celebrate Eid Milad Un Nabi . Prophet Muhammad's birth anniversary is today. Shia and Sunni Muslims observe this feast on separate dates. This day is celebrated by Sunni Muslims on the 12th day of Islamic calendar, and by Shia Muslims on the 17th day of Rabi Ul Awwal. Eid Milad Un Nabi 2024 : Celebration

One day prior to the celebration, people begin preparing. They use vibrant lights and green flags to adorn the neighborhood, streets, mosques, and marketplaces. They wrap green bands around their hands to symbolize Islam, and they commemorate this day with much fanfare and spectacle. Among the principal customs on this particular day are changing into new clothes, giving out candy, and going to the mosque. Muslims ask for Allah's blessings and offer unique prayers. Women cook a variety of dishes, such as Sevaiyan and Sheer Khurma. They celebrate this day with their family members by inviting them to their homes. To worship Allah and ask for blessings, some individuals travel to these well-known and holy locations, including Haji Ali Dargah, Jama Mazjid, Nizamuddin Aulia, and Ajmer Sharif.

Charity and donations also considered highly rewarding on this sacred day. Prophet Mohammad believed in kindness and humanity and people who are are truly devoted to Allah, make donations and do charity for the needy and poor people. Young children celebrate this with great enthusiasm and ask for Eidi from their elders. They meet their cousins and friends and make this day memorable.
