Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 set to bring galactic battles with Star Wars crossover

Send Push
The force is strong with Fortnite once again, as Epic Games gears up for an exciting new Star Wars-themed season. According to trusted sources and prominent leakers in the community, Fortnite Chapter 6: Season 3 will transport players to a galaxy far, far away when it launches on May 2, 2025.

Unlike previous Fortnite x Star Wars events, which were limited-time collaborations, this new season appears to be fully dedicated to the iconic franchise. Leaks suggest this will be a mini-season, running for about 37 days and concluding on June 8, 2025, making it one of the shortest seasons in recent Fortnite history. However, fans are already buzzing with anticipation over the limited-time experience.

What we know so far

According to Fortnite insiders like ShiinaBR, Chapter 6 Season 3 will integrate Star Wars content into the game’s evolving storyline - a rare move for Fortnite’s crossovers. Previously, only The Mandalorian received storyline treatment as a Hunter during Chapter 2. This time, the Star Wars universe is expected to play a much larger role in the lore.

Themed Points of Interest (POIs) are also set to arrive, likely inspired by iconic Star Wars locations. Early leaks hint at the inclusion of three bosses, five henchmen, and six friendly NPCs appearing across the island. While identities remain unconfirmed, leaks strongly suggest that the original trilogy will be the central focus. Characters like Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, and C-3PO are expected, with others like Emperor Palpatine, Chewbacca, and even Qui-Gon Jinn and Jar Jar Binks reportedly in discussion.

Weapons, abilities, and skins
While Fortnite has previously featured Lightsabers, Blasters, and Force powers, Chapter 6 Season 3 is rumored to push the envelope further. With Palpatine and the Death Star rumored to be part of the in-game narrative, speculation points to new gameplay mechanics such as Force Lightning or even Death Star orbital strikes.

In terms of cosmetics, several character skins are expected to be available through the Battle Pass and Item Shop. While the Battle Pass may be shorter due to the condensed season, skins such as Chewbacca and C-3PO have already been spotted in leaks. Other fan-favorite characters like Mace Windu, General Grievous, and Captain Rex are high on the community's wishlist.

Although some players initially voiced concern over an entire Star Wars-themed season, the shortened duration and impressive lineup have shifted the tide of opinion. If leaks hold true, Fortnite’s upcoming season could be one of its most visually spectacular and narratively engaging yet.

With May the 4th just around the corner, all eyes are now on Epic Games to make this intergalactic adventure a season to remember.
