Send Push
Roman Reigns ' recent revelation might have hinted at the end of the Tribal Chief era coming soon.

Roman Reigns is one of the biggest WWE superstars of all time. From being a quiet muscle of The Shield to rising as the flagship star of WWE as the Tribal Chief, Reigns has come a long way. Now, after ten-plus years in WWE, The OTC dropped the bombshell by hinting at his retirement plans and a potential timeline by which he can be done as an in-ring competitor.

Is Roman Reigns planning to hang up his boots and leave WWE?
In a recent interview with Vanity, Roman Reigns revealed that his current WWE contract will expire after next year's WrestleMania. The 42nd edition of the show will take place on April 11 and 12 at the Mercedes Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. Furthermore, Reigns stated that at the end of his contract, he plans to wrestle for another year or two and then end his career as an in-ring WWE superstar.

The OTC said, "After I finish the contract that I’m in, we probably got another year or two max,’ he says. ‘Then it’s time to take on a less physical form of entertainment.’"

This comes as heartbreaking news for Roman Reigns's vast fanbase, who have only a few years to watch their Tribal Chief in WWE. While there is still time before the Tribal Chief era comes to its conclusion, Reigns is currently focused on the task at hand, i.e., WrestleMania 41. The former Undisputed WWE Champion is set to collide in a massive triple-threat match against CM Punk and Seth Rollins.

However, WWE's resident megastar will walk into the match with a major disadvantage. Roman Reigns will not have his trusted Wiseman, Paul Heyman, in his corner. Instead, Heyman will be on CM Punk's side to return the favor he owed Punk for teaming up with the OG Bloodline and Roman Reigns at the 2024 WWE Survivor Series PLE. The tensions between Reigns and Heyman have been evident for weeks, with Reigns shoving Heyman to the mat on the final RAW before WrestleMania 41. With the stakes higher than ever, it will be interesting to see this mega clash in Las Vegas.
