Tata Group-owned Bigbasket 'promises' 10 minutes delivery of iPhone 16: All details

Tata Group-owned quick-commerce platform Bigbasket is launching its electronics category in partnership with Croma . This category includes mobile phones, laptops, PlayStation consoles, Microwave and more, all available for delivery in just 10 minutes. As part of this expansion, BigBasket will offer 10-minute delivery of the latest iPhone 16 models.

Starting tomorrow, September 20 at 8 AM, Bigbasket customers can order the latest iPhone 16 directly to their doorstep. Initially, this service will be available to Bigbasket customers in Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR and Mumbai. However, the TataGroup-owned quick-commerce service hasn’t announced any offers or discounts for the iPhone 16 models.

Speaking about the launch, Hari Menon, Co-Founder and CEO of Bigbasket said: “We are thrilled to bring the iPhone 16 to our platform, marking the beginning of our foray into the electronics space. This is just the start—very soon, we will be launching a wide range of top-tier electronics, all available with our lightning-fast delivery service. The iPhone 16 is priced at Rs 79,900 in India, while the iPhone 16 Pro starts at Rs 134,900.

The iPhone 16 series includes four models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. These devices, launched earlier this month, come with upgrades like a new Camera Control button and Apple Intelligence support.

The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus maintain their predecessor's design but offer improved displays and camera systems. The Pro models feature larger displays, titanium construction, and a new "dessert titanium" finish. All models have a new Camera Control button and enhanced performance thanks to the A18 chip.

The Pro models boast a more powerful A18 Pro chip and advanced camera capabilities, including a 48MP "fusion camera," a new ultrawide lens, and a 5x telephoto lens. All models have improved battery life and the Pro models support Qi2 wireless charging.
