The Indian government’s Fact Checking agency — PIB Fact Check — has shared a post on Twitter, warning against fake videos promoting “Pakistan’s propaganda” to manipulate users. The post is titled “YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA FEEDS ARE UNDER ATTACK” and advises users to not fall for suspicious videos related to Indian armed forces or the ongoing India-Pakistan situation.

PIB Fact Check’s post reads:

Beware of suspicious videos related to #IndianArmedForces or the ongoing situation. These are key tools of malicious manipulation.

Do you need to turn off location services on your phones? Government clarifies

In another post, PIB Fact Check debunked a claim asking citizens to turn off GPS on their smartphone immediately. The post stated:

A viral image is claiming that an advisory has been issued, advising people to turn off location services on their phones immediately.
