NEW DELHI: The Ramlilas in the city are set for a spectacular finale this Dussehra , promising an unforgettable celebration. At the Shri Dharmik Leela Committee 's pandal, both the President and the Prime Minister will witness the Ram-Ravan battle . The event will take place in Madhavdas Park on the grounds of the Red Fort.
Dheeraj Dhar Gupta, the committee's general secretary, along with secretary Pradeep Sharan, confirmed that both the President and PM had accepted their invitation. “We are also expecting numerous other prominent leaders from across the country to join us, along with ambassadors from various countries,” said committee spokesperson Ravi Jain.
The Lav Kush Ramlila will welcome Bollywood stars Kareena Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, and Rohit Shetty, who are anticipated to attend the Ravan Dahan ceremony. A Nav Shri Dharmik Leela member stated that a delegation met former Congress president Sonia Gandhi and invited her to attend the Dussehra celebrations.
Meanwhile, Shri Ramlila Mahasangh has appealed to all Ramlila committees to pay tribute to him by offering floral tributes to his photograph before starting the performances. The office bearers of the Lav Kush Ramlila Committee will also hold a special meeting to pay homage to Tata.
